What is rolled gold wire?

Rolled Gold wire is also known as gold filled wire.  Rolled gold wire is made by forming a hollow tube of gold then it's filled with a base metal, usually jeweler's brass.  Rolled gold wire has a 100 times more gold then gold plated.  Rolled gold is affordable and is a fraction of the cost of solid karat gold.  Swirls N Twirls uses 14/20 rolled gold, which means 14 karat gold is used and the 20 means 1/20 or 5% of total gold content, and is usually considered a lifetime piece. 

What is sterling silver wire?

Sterling silver wire is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper, which is use to harden the silver  Sterling silver should be place in either a anti tarnish bag or ziplock bag with anti tarnish paper when not worn to prevent tarnishing and scratches.

What is a cabochon?

A cabochon is also known a cab.  A cabochon is a stone that has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted.  Cabochon has a flat bottom/back and a domed surface/front. Cabs can be cut in many shapes and sizes, but the most common shape is oval.

Do you offer custom wire work?

Yes, we offer custom orders and a down payment is required at the time of order.  When the order has been completed an email will be send to the customer for design approval.  After the design has been approved order must be paid in full prior to shipping.

Do you offer lapidary services?

Yes, we offer stone cutting, shaping, drilling and polishing.  We can turn your stone into a either oval or freeform cabochon.  We also offer faceting services too.  There is nothing like turning a stone into a beautiful gem.

Do you offer shipping?

Items are shipped within 2-3 business days and are shipped in a cotton filled box, convenient for storage or gift giving.  All items are shipped via USPS insured mail with delivery confirmation.

Custom Orders will not be shipped until the design has been approved by the customer. 

Do you accept returns or refunds?

Exchanges and returns are accepted.  Please contact us within 10 days of receiving item.  All items must be returned in original condition and packing.  Swirls N Twirls  is not responsible for lost or damaged items during return shipping so package item carefully and insure shipment for the price of the item.  After Swirls N Twirls receives the item; you will then be refunded the purchase price of the item, minus any shipping cost.

Custom order:  All custom orders that have been approved to ship will only receive 80% of the purchase price, minus any shipping cost.

Shipping cost are non refundable.

What type of payments do you accept?

Swirls N Twirls accepts PayPal, money orders, Visa and MasterCard. We will also accept a personal check, but items will not be shipped until payment has cleared.
